How to go about choosing what software tools to use. REally good, clear advice. You should read this. Everyone should.

Trying to fill out a form to return my Nexus tablet. It won't charge, let alone turn on. This seems to be a relatively common problem and the internet prescribes various cures, none of which have helped. Since it's still under warranty I thought I'd just send it back. Sent of an email and was, in relatively short order, adviced to fill out an "RMA" request, which I think means asking them to take it away and fix it. The form insists I supply the device serial number. To find out a Nexus' serial number, you need to be able to turn it on. You can see where this is falling down.

Tim Peake: Next stop Mars

Savage With Barometer by North Atlantic Oscillation. Supported Bob Mould at the Electric Ballroom last week. I liked them. You may like them too. (And blimey, isn't cameraphone footage good these days.)

It's my birthday. Everyone else has gone out.
