Ferrofluids - for all your liquidy magnetic needs

Llamasoft, in the middle of announcing a whole pile of future work for several different platforms, go back to their roots and release Gridrunner for Android as donationware. Moving away from iOS isn't a massive surprise to me

Much though we've enjoyed working on iOS, it's clear to us that it's not a good idea for us to concentrate on that platform alone.
Didn't see the pay-what-like thing coming, although I thoroughly approve.

Do young people say w00t?

If all the crazy new stuff (Rvalue references! Move semantics! Initializer lists! Lambda functions! Type inference! Final! Overrides! Enumerations! Variadic templates! User-defined literals! The memory model! The threading library! Static assets! Tuples! There's more, but I'm getting tired! OK, maybe just one more! Hash tables! Oh and regexes! Perfect forward - how could I forget that! And there really is more!) in C++11 is making your brain melt, get in early for C++14.

If that seems a bit much, maybe Java 8 is what you need. It's an opportunity to stop programming using 1970s techniques and start using 1930s ones. Can't wait. Not joking.

England's second largest city is aiming to achieve a 'Birmingham Cycle Revolution' as it finalises its bid for a slice of government cash aimed at helping cities in England outside the capital to boost levels of cycling. That should read The United Kingdom's second largest city ...

Sorry, I'll just say that again - Gridrunner for Android.
