Monday 13 September 2010 Fifteen Albums

My chum Tom asks after fifteen albums you've heard that will always stick with you. Assuming "always stick with you" doesn't mean quite the same as "favourite", I bashed out this list.

  • Bob Mould - Workbook
  • Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Everyone Knows This Is Nowhere
  • Screaming Trees - Sweet Oblivion
  • Big Black - Atomizer
  • Nine Inch Nails - Further Down The Spiral
  • Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
  • Kate Bush - Hounds Of Love
  • Jethro Tull - Thick as Brick
  • Saxon - Crusader
  • Pearl Jam - 10
  • Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene
  • Slint - Spiderland
  • Fairport Convention - In Real Time
  • Rob Zombie - Hellbilly Deluxe
  • Pantera - Vulgar Display Of Power

I'm reaching a bit for some of them. Fifteen is a lot. Of those, the only one I heard for the first time recently is the Neil Young, and it's really quite staggeringly good.
